        There are three common tapping machine processing methods:

        Servo tapping: No need to use thread gauges. Servo motors are used for each feed on the axis and rotation axis. The motor control system controls the spindle rotation and feed rate to form a trajectory that rotates along the threaded spindle.


        Solutions and suggestions for deep hole drilling and tapping machines, as titanium metal parts are difficult to process, we need to fully consider cutting parameters and tool geometry.


        Titanium alloy cutting speed has high elasticity and deformation rate, so pneumatic tapping machines require a relatively small cutting speed. In the processing of titanium alloy parts, pneumatic tapping machines are recommended for circular cutting speeds of 10 to 14 inches per minute. We do not recommend using a lower speed as it can lead to cold hardening. In addition, attention should also be paid to tool damage caused by cutting heat. For 0 deep hole tapping, it is necessary to reduce the tap slots and the chip space for each slot. So, when the faucet retracts, more iron can be used, as the chance of tool damage is reduced due to the iron plug. On the other hand, the increase in core diameter of the tap groove has an impact on the development strength. So this will also affect the fact that cutting small rake angles can improve the strength of the cutting edge, thereby increasing tool life; Cutting metal waste with a large front angle is very long. So in titanium alloy processing, it is necessary to consider these two factors and choose the appropriate front angle. At large angles, friction between the tool and chips can be reduced.


        So sometimes an angle of 40 ° is required for the faucet. In titanium alloy processing, the angle of tap wear is large, which is beneficial for chips. In addition, grinding the tap and edge is also beneficial for tapping.
